Image location : Bembridge Windmill (or Knowle Mill) a preserved tower mill on the Isle of Wight.
It is the only surviving windmill on the Isle of Wight and is one of the island's most iconic images. Built around 1700, it last operated in 1913 but still has most of its original machinery intact. It is now owned by the National Trust.
This image was captured just after sunrise using a Panasonic Lumix G7 with a LUMIX G VARIO 7-14mm f/4.0 lens set to 14mm (equivalent to 28mm on full frame camera). The camera was on a tripod and I used autofocus on the cobwebs. The camera was set to Aperture Priority f/9.0 giving a 1/40th of a second exposure at ISO 200 with daylight white balance. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC.
