Image location : The Needles
Sunset at the Needles on the Isle of Wight, this is the most westerly tip of the island.
The Needles is a row of three distinctive stacks of chalk that rise out of the sea with the Needles Lighthouse at the far end of the stack.
This image was captured at sunset using a Panasonic Lumix G7 with a LUMIX G VARIO 35-100mm f/2.8 lens set to 100mm (equivalent to 200mm on full frame camera). The camera was hand held with my elbows resting on the rail and I used autofocus on the Needles. The camera was set to Aperture Priority f/8.0 giving a 1/2000th of a second exposure at ISO 200 with daylight white balance. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC.
