Nunney Castle reflected

Location: It is in the village of Nunney located in Somerset, England.

This image was captured using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkII camera with a Canon TS-E 17mm f/4 L lens. I used Liveview and 10x magnification to manually focus on the branch and leaves sticking out over the lake, and a downward shift was used to give a better view of the reflection. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/16, ISO 100, and daylight white balance. I then captured a series of 8 exposures from 8 seconds all the way to 1/15th of a second in one-stop increments. The RAW processing, creating and saving the HDRI was all done in Photoshop CS/5. The HDRI was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro before the final clean-up and image correction/enhancement work and flipping was done back in Photoshop.
