Pic of the Week - Page 62
Location: Llandudno Pier on the north coast of Wales between Bangor and Colwyn Bay. It is the longest pier in Wales at 2,295 ft.
This image was captured using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkII camera with a Canon 24~70mm F/2.8L lens set at 43mm. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/16, ISO 100, and daylight white balance. I then captured a series of 9 exposures from 1/10th of a second all the way to 1/2500th of a second in one-stop increments. The RAW processing, creating and saving the HDRI was all done in Photoshop CS/5. The HDRI was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro before the final clean-up and image correction/enhancement work was done back in Photoshop.
