Pic of the Week - Page 45
Location: Corfe Castle, Dorset, England, an 11th century castle that occupies a gap in the Purbeck Hills.
This image was captured using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkII camera with a Canon 70~200mm F/2.8L lens set at 87mm. I used live view and 10x magnification to manually focus on the large near gravestone. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/22, ISO 100, and daylight white balance. I then captured a series of 8 exposures from ¼ second all the way to 1/500th of a second in one-stop increments. The RAW processing, creating and saving the HDRI was all done in Photoshop CS/4. The HDRI was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro before the final clean-up and image correction/enhancement work was done back in Photoshop.
