Location: Eastbourne Pier which first opened in 1870 @ sunrise

The sun started breaking through the cloud so quickly that I set my camera on the tripod with a cable release, 24/70mm zoom lens set at 57mm, f/14, ISO 100, and all camera settings in manual including white balance (daylight) and focus. I then captured a series of 8 exposures from ¼ of a second all the way up to 1/500 of a second. The RAW processing, creating and saving the HDR was all done in Photoshop CS/4. The HDR was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro before the final clean-up and image correction/enhancement work was done back in Photoshop.
