Image Location : A field of poppies (Papaver rhoeas) which always signifies summer to me.
It was captured on private land in Yaverland Manor on the Isle of Wight, for which Mandy kindly gave me permission to go in the field and photograph them.
This image was captured early afternoon using a Panasonic Lumix GX8 with a LUMIX G VARIO 7-14 F/4.0 set to 7mm (equivalent to 14mm on full frame camera). I was hand holding the camera and using autofocus on the poppies. The camera was set to Aperture Priority f/10 giving a 1/640th of a second exposure at ISO 200 with daylight white balance. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC.
