Location : in French countryside near Crozant in the lovely rural area of the Creuse Department. It is very close to where we hold the photographic workshops and it provides a fun spot to go and photograph. There are three old Simca cars in the back garden of a home; these cars are used as chicken sheds!
It was in the morning when I captured this image using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkIII camera and a Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 II L lens. I used Live View focusing at 10x on the front bumper. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/11, ISO 100 and daylight white balance. I then captured a series of 10 exposures from a ¼ of a second all the way to 1/2000th of a second in one stop increments. The RAW processing, creating and saving of the HDRI was all done in Photoshop CC. The HDRI TIFF file was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro 5. The final adjustments were then done back in Photoshop with the Nik Color Efex Pro 4 plug-in. |
