Location : The old Gosport Ferry boat Vadne was built in 1939 by Vosper of Portsmouth and she was in service until 1965. She is now in derelict condition on the shore at Forton Lake, Gosport.
The sun had just risen when I captured this image using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkIII camera and a Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8 L lens set to 25mm. I used Live View focusing at 10x on the ferry. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/11, ISO 100 and daylight white balance. I then captured a series of 12 exposures from 2 seconds all the way to one-thousandth of a second in one-stop increments. The RAW processing, creating and saving of the HDRI was all done in Photoshop CS6. The HDRI file was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro. The final adjustments were then done in Photoshop, and the Bleach Bypass Effects in Nik Color Efex Pro.
