Location : Lockheed F-104 Starfighter Lasham Airfield, near Winchester, Hants.

This image was captured shortly after sunrise using a tripod-mounted Canon 5D camera and a Canon EF 16-35mm F/2.8L lens set at 16mm. I used autofocus on the plane and then switched the lens to manual focus. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/16, ISO 100 and daylight white balance. I then captured a series of 3 exposures from 1/6th of a second all the way to a hundredth of a second in two-stop increments with the auto-bracket feature. The RAW processing, creating and saving of the HDRI were all done in Photoshop CS/5. The HDRI was then opened and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro before the final clean-up and enhancement work was done back in Photoshop.
