Salisbury Cathedral

Location : a polar panorama of Salisbury Cathedral, sometime also called a photo-world.

This image was captured about 4:00pm using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkII camera and a Canon TS-E 17mm f/4 L lens. I used Liveview and 10x magnification to manually focus on the cathedral. The camera was set on manual mode, 1/80th of a second, f/11, ISO 100 and daylight white balance. A panorama attachment was used and 3 images were captured for stitching together. The RAW processing, stitching editing, enhancement and saving of the image was all done in Photoshop CS/5.

PhotoPlus issue 46 has a full tutorial on how to shoot and process this polar panorama image.
