Location: the village of St. Abbs on the east coast of Scotland.
This image was captured using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkII with a 24~70mm F/2.8L lens set at 34mm. I auto focused on the rocks and set the lens switch to manual focus. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/11, ISO 100, and daylight white balance. I then fitted a B&W 10 stop neutral density filter to allow a long shutter speed of 30 seconds to really soften the waves. The RAW processing and clean-up was all done in Photoshop CS/4.
