Location: I am standing on the end of the Pier in order to catch the first rays of the sunrise lighting up the town of Cromer, Norfolk. I do like the reflection of the sun in the ocean from the house windows.
This is a single image captured with a 16mm lens @ f/8 on a full frame camera. The only special technique I have employed is to use a minus 10 stop neutral density filter to allow a long shutter speed of 30 seconds. The reason I wanted such a long shutter speed was to remove the small wave action from the sea and to create a nice soft blur and sheen to the sea and some movement in the sky.
