This image was captured using a tripod-mounted infrared modified Canon 5D.
This is the best lens I have for infrared it is the TS-E 24mm TSE (mark 1) lens because it does not have all the special coatings the new lenses have which often adversely affect IR.
Stopping down to f/16 and setting the hyper focal distance to 4’ meant that everything from 2’ to infinity would appear to be in focus.
I needed to be careful to shield the lens from the setting sun as this lens is prone to flare because it does not have all those coatings.
