Location : Skomer Island, just off the southwest corner of Pembrokeshire in Wales. Skomer is one of the very best places in Britain to see and photograph puffins, with over 6,000 breeding pairs. This image was captured mid-afternoon with a Canon 7D camera and a Canon EF 70~200mm F/2.8L lens set at 73mm resting on the ground. The camera was set on aperture priority, f/8 at ISO 100 and daylight white balance. I used AI Servo focus and the camera chose 1/250th of a second. The RAW processing, editing, enhancement and saving of the image was all done in Photoshop CS/5. Click here to improve your photography ... on the Isle of Wight |
