Image Location : Borthwood Copse on the Isle of Wight.
Spring is a little late this year and the mud was thick enough to pull your boots off, but it was a true spring morning. I love these old woodlands, especially with those really old oak trees. This image was enhanced to help bring out the spookiness of the forest.
This image was captured in the morning, using a hand-held Panasonic Lumix G9 camera with a Leica G Vario 7-14mm f/4 lens set to 8mm (equivalent to 16mm on a full frame camera). The lens was focused on the leading branch in the foreground, and the camera was set to aperture priority at f/8 with 1/125th of a second exposure at ISO 200 with daylight white balance. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC, and spookiness was added courtesy of Nik Color Efex Pro 4.
