Image Location : Nunwell Trail, Ryde, Isle of Wight

Nunwell Trail. Although just seven miles long, this is a rewarding walk from Sandown to Ryde

I found this view across the solent by walking part of the trail on Brading Down.

This image was captured about 9:15am, using a hand held Panasonic DC-G9 with a Lumix 100 - 400mm f/4 - 6.3 lens, set to 124mm (equivalent to 248mm on a full frame camera). The lens was focused on the trees and the camera was set to aperture priority f/8 giving a 1/320th of a second exposure at ISO 640 with daylight white balance. I turned up the ISO to allow a faster shutter speed because of the telephoto lens. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC.
