Ashey is a hamlet on the outskirts of Ryde

We had a lovely misty dawn this week so after dropping Jennifer down to the hovercraft I went for a wander round the lanes behind our home in the car to see what I could find.

This image was captured about 8:00am, using a hand held Panasonic DC-G9 with a Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 lens, set to 28mm (equivalent to 56mm on a full frame camera). The lens was focused on the tree and the camera was set to aperture priority f/8 giving a 1/5000th of a second exposure at ISO 200 with daylight white balance. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC.
