Location : Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight.

Freshwater Bay as it is being ravaged by winter storm Imogen. A wind gust of 96mph was recorded at the Needles which is just a mile or two down the coast from this bay. You had to be very careful as the waves were also throwing up the stones and shingle!

This image was captured in the morning using a Panasonic Lumix G7 with a LUMIX G VARIO 12-35 F/2.8 lens set to 12mm (equivalent to 24mm on full frame camera). The camera was hand held and I used autofocus, one had to be able to move quickly! The camera was set to Aperture priority f/8.0 giving a 1/4000th of a second exposure at ISO 200 with daylight white balance. The RAW processing and final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CC.
