Location : the hovercraft was captured from Haslar Sea Wall, Gosport. Hovertravel operate a hovercraft passenger service between Southsea, Portsmouth and Ryde on the Isle of White.

This image was captured one morning using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkIII camera and a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5 L lens set at 400mm. I used AF focusing on the hovercraft. The camera was set to Aperture priority exposure mode, f/8, ISO 100 and daylight white balance with an exposure of 1/4000th of a second. The RAW processing and the final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CS/6.
