Location : Pontsticill Reservoir or Taf Fechan Reservoir in South Wales. It lies within the Brecon Beacons National Park and holds approximately 3400 million gallons of water.

This image was captured at dawn using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkIII camera and a Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II lens. I used Live View focusing at 10x to focus at the hyperfocal distance on the reeds. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/11, ISO 100, daylight white balance and the exposure was 2 seconds. The RAW processing and the final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CS/6.
