Location : fireworks over the city of Bath. It was Bath's Guy Fawkes Night to celebrate the events of 5 November 1605 when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords.
This image was captured about 8:30pm using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkIII camera and a Canon TS-E 45mm f/2.8 lens. I used Live View focusing at 10x to focus on the church. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/7.1, ISO 100 and daylight white balance. The exposures were both 3.2seconds; the only item showing from the second image is the firework burst moved to the left. The RAW processing, compositing the two images, aligning the burst to the left and the final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CS/6.
