Location : Pontsticill Reservoir or Taf Fechan Reservoir in South Wales. It lies within the Brecon Beacons National Park and holds approximately 3400 million gallons of water.
This image was captured shortly after dawn using a tripod-mounted Canon 5DmkIII camera and a Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II lens. I used Live View focusing at 10x to focus at the hyperfocal distance on the fence. The camera was set to manual exposure mode, f/11, ISO 100 and daylight white balance. The exposure for the sky was 1/60th of a second and 1/15th of a second for the landscape. The RAW processing, compositing the two images, flipping the image horizontally and the final adjustments were all done in Photoshop CS/6.
